Bhubaneswar, August 21: The Odisha Government on Thursday effected a major reshuffle among the IPS Cadres. A notification was released by Odisha Home Department in this conncection.
According to the order, Dr. Santosh Bala, a 1995 batch IPS Officer has been posted as Director, SFSL.
A 2002 batch IPS Officer S. Praveen Kumar has been assigned as IG of Police, Provisioning.
Gajbhiyye Satish Kumar Iswardas (IPS, 2002 batch) has been appointed as IG of Police, Special Armed Police.
Similarly, Sanjay Kumar Kaushal has been shifted to IG of Police, Economic Offences Wing (EOW).
IPS Officer Avinash Kumar has been posted as head of the State Crime Record Bureau.
DIG Dr. Satyajit Naik has been posted as DIG of Police, Central Range whereas Puri SP Pinak Mishra has been elevated to DIG of Police, Eastern Range.
IPS Prateek Singh has been transferred as SP, Puri, Vivekanand Sharma to SP, Khurda, and Parmar Smit Parshottamdas (IPS, 2013) as SP, Crime Branch.
Similarly,Gundala Reddy Raghavendra will now be SP, Jharsuguda, while Amritpal Kaur will join as SP, Sundargarh.
SP Jagatsinghpur, Bhawani Shankar Udgata has been assigned as SP, Railway, Cuttack, read the notification.
