Hyderabad, April 5: Winning the toss on their home ground, here, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) opted to bowl first against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the 18th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 on Friday.
SRH skipper Pat Cummins informed his side will have two changes in their playing XI, with unwell Mayank Agarwal being rested and Nitish Reddy coming in his place. Back from injury pacer T Natarajan has also been included in the team, Cummins added.
CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad also informed of a few changes in their playing XI. Left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman is in Bangladesh for a visa related paperwork for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024.
The other pacer Matheesha Pathirana, who joined the CSK squad after he recovered from an injury, has also been rested for a niggle. His Lankan teammate spinner Maheesh Theekshan has been included in the squad, Gaikwad stated.
