Cuttack, Oct 31: Fourteen officers from Odisha Police have been honored with the prestigious Kendriya Grihmantri Dakshata Padak for their exceptional contributions to special operations. The award recognizes their courage, skill, and dedication during high-risk missions, highlighting their outstanding service in ensuring public safety and national security.

The awardees include a distinguished group of officers from the Special Operations Group (SOG), known for their critical role in counter-insurgency and tactical operations across Odisha. Among the honorees are Gundala Reddy Raghavendra, IPS, the former SP of Nuapada and current SP of Jharsuguda. His leadership in complex and high-stakes operations has earned him national recognition.
