​​​​​​​Andhra Pradesh, Oct 28: While Cyclone Montha began its landfall near Kakinada with no significant devastation on the coast, tragically a woman died in Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday.

According to the Andhra Pradesh Police, the tragic incident took place at Makanagudem village under the Konaseema district in the evening.

According to reports, heavy shower and high winds were going on during the landfall process. Meanwhile, an uprooted Palmyra tree fell on a woman who was resting in her house.
