Ahmedabad, May 10: Mumbai Indians (MI and Punjab Kings (PBKS) are already out of the play-off race of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024.
Among the two teams that lock horns, here on Friday evening, the hosts seem to be in real danger. If they do not win, they may join MI and PBKS and have to give up their play-off dreams this season.
It is a must win game for struggling Gujarat Titans (GT),as they host Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the 59th match of the IPL 2024.
CSK, sitting fourth in the points table, are heading into this game after a comfortable win against Punjab Kings at Dharamsala while GT, that are rooted at the bottom of the table, lost to Royal Challengers Bengaluru in their last match.
Chennai and Gujarat locked horns six times in the IPL, with both teams sharing an equal number of wins.

Last season, champions CSK have not been that consistent this season due to injuries to key players and a few struggling for forms. But GT are in more problem and would be desperate for a win.
