Bhubanewar, Nov 4: In a bid to manage the heavy passenger traffic during the Kartik Purnima festival, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) has announced the operation of special trains between Berhampur and Puri.

According to the ECoR, one special train will depart from Berhampur to Puri on November 4, 2024. The train will leave Berhampur at 8:35 PM and is expected to reach Puri at 1:30 AM on November 5, 2024.

In addition, two return special trains will operate from Puri to Berhampur. The first train will depart from Puri at 3:00 AM and arrive in Berhampur at 7:15 AM on November 5, 2024. The second train will leave Puri at 5:00 AM and reach Berhampur at 9:30 AM on the same day.

These special trains are aimed at accommodating the large number of devotees traveling to and from Puri for the Kartik Purnima celebrations, ensuring a smooth and convenient travel experience during the busy festival period.
