Cuttack, Dec 15: The book 'Lotus from the Swamp', chronicling the life of former Chief Justice of the Odisha High Court Justice Gatikrushna Mishra, was formally released at a special function held at the Ravenshaw Seven Pillars Hall. The book was unveiled by Supreme Court Judge Justice Alok Aradhe.
The event was attended by the book’s author Biraja Mishra, son of Justice Gatikrushna Mishra; former Supreme Court Judge Justice Ananga Kumar Patnaik; senior advocate Suryakanta Padhi; senior journalist and writer Kedar Mishra; and publisher Shubhranshu Panda, among other dignitaries.
Speaking on the occasion, author Biraja Mishra said the book captures the inspiring journey of Justice Gatikrushna Mishra and brings to light several lesser-known aspects of his life, which he believes will motivate readers across generations.
