Bhubaneswar, Nov 28: A bomb exploded near the main gate of Kendriya Vidyalaya on Monday morning, followed by another blast in front of Gate No. 3. The twin explosions, reported around 8 a.m., sent shockwaves through the school premises and surrounding locality.

According to preliminary information, the incident occurred when miscreants were allegedly transporting the explosives from one location to another.

Mancheswar Police reached the spot soon after the blast and have launched a detailed investigation. Officials suspect the explosives may have been intended for a major criminal activity.

Police are currently examining multiple CCTV footage from the area to identify who was carrying the explosives, their intended destination, and the motive behind the transport.
