Bhubaneswar, Dec 27: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday issued yellow alert for dense fog in several districts of Odisha for a few days.
With the minimum temperature rising across Odisha for the last two days, several places in the state experienced shallow to dense fog in the morning hours. However,dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Rayagada, and Koraput.
Besides, the rest nine districts will witness almost dry weather during the next 72 hours with falling night temperatures at different places.
