Patna, Nov 11: The ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) coalition is heading for a landslide victory in the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 as it is maintaining a strong lead in 207 seats, way ahead of the crucial majority mark of 122 seats.
According to the latest trends, the BJP is leading in 96 seats, Nitish Kumar’s Janata Dal (United) in 84 seats, and Chirag Paswan’s Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) in 19 seats, while other allied parties are ahead in nine seats.
The alliance is on track for a major victory, with vote counting still in progress.
Meanwhile, the opposition Mahagathbandhan—led by the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and supported by the Congress (INC) and Left parties—is trailing significantly, leading in only 28 seats.
According to the latest trends, RJD is leading in 24 seats, Congress in two seats and CPI-(ML) in zero, while other allied parties are ahead in two seats.
The vote counting process is still ongoing, and official results are expected to be declared by evening.
As the NDA maintains its commanding lead, all eyes are on the final outcome, with the possibility of a clear majority emerging for the ruling coalition.
