Bhubaneswar, Feb 13: Balipatna police arrested a man after he allegedly harassed college girls by making obscene gestures near Nimapada Road. According to reports, the accused, identified as Hemant Nayak, had been hiding near Padmapur and targeted the girls while they were on their way to a local coaching center.

Local residents intervened after the girls raised an alarm, tying the accused to a tree and informing the police. The Balipatna Police reached the scene and took Nayak into custody.

The girls have stated that the man has repeatedly harassed them in public, prompting authorities to take strict action.
