Supervisors from ten local organisations receive vital hygiene certification

Bhubaneswar recently took a major step forward in its culinary compliance and customer care. Thirty-two hospitality executives gathered at the popular Bocca Cafe to complete a comprehensive FSSAI food safety training designed specifically for restaurant supervisors. Organized by the NRAI Odisha chapter, this certification program aimed to equip local food service professionals with the latest health and sanitation protocols required to run a secure, customer-friendly kitchen.

Raising Local Hospitality Standards

Maintaining impeccable kitchen conditions is no longer just a regulatory hurdle; it is a core component of building diner trust. Sameer Hans, who heads the NRAI chapter, noted that this recent workshop marks just the beginning of a broader educational initiative. The overarching goal of the organisation is to continuously share vital knowledge, spread awareness, and permanently elevate hygiene benchmarks across the regional restaurant industry in close partnership with regulatory bodies.

Expert Guidance on Kitchen Hygiene

Participants expressed immense satisfaction with the quality of the curriculum. Amit Nanda, an expert representing the regulatory authority, led the sessions and kept the attendees highly engaged with practical, real-world examples of daily operational challenges. By breaking down complex sanitary regulations into actionable daily steps, the workshop ensured that these supervisors could immediately implement better practices upon returning to their respective kitchens.

Collaboration across different brands was a massive highlight of the event. Executives from 10 distinct culinary businesses stepped up to get certified. The organisations that proudly participated in this initiative include Romeo Lane, Green Chillyz, Zingiber, Sips, Bocca Café, Ekaiva Bake House, BBI(Booze Buzz Inhouse), Samrat Hotel, and Café Sundowner.

By successfully finishing this targeted program, these professionals are now fully certified to oversee and enforce strict health guidelines. This proactive approach promises a safer, cleaner, and much more reliable dining experience for patrons throughout the region.
