Deogarh, Mar 14: In a dramatic turn of events in Garia Pali under Kundheigola police limits, Ramesh Garia, the prime accused in the recent triple murder case, was spotted hiding near the village water tank. Alert villagers quickly surrounded the area, preventing his escape and immediately informed the local police.

Kundheigola police personnel rushed to the site to apprehend Garia. Fearing that he might jump from the tank, authorities called in the fire services to assist. The fire team successfully brought him down safely, allowing the police to take him into custody after a tense operation.

No weapons were found on Garia at the time of his arrest. Officials noted that the accused appeared to be in a fragile mental state, which prompted the involvement of the fire department during the operation.

After his apprehension, Garia was admitted to a hospital, where it was found that he had ingested poison. Reports indicate that he was not cooperative in taking the antidote.

Police had conducted searches at multiple locations after the accused fled following the alleged murders, and the operation concluded successfully with his capture. Authorities continue to investigate the triple murder case.
