Bhubaneswar: Odisha para powerlifters put up an impressive performance at the 23rd Senior, 18th Junior & 2nd Sub-Junior National Para Powerlifting Championship 2025–26, winning a silver and bronze medal on the final day of the competition.

In the Junior Men’s 59 kg category, Shyama Marandi won the Bronze Medal  with a successful lift of 50 kg. Continuing Odisha’s success, Sarojini Parida secured the silver  in the Sub-Junior Women’s 55 kg category with a lift of 20 kg.

The Para Sports Association of Odisha (PSAO) congratulated the medal winners and appreciated the efforts of all participating athletes for their hard work, discipline, and dedication in representing the state at the national level.
