Bhubaneswar, Dec 3: IndiaOne Air has launched two daily flights connecting Jeypore and Bhubaneswar, improving air connectivity within Odisha. The move comes in response to the growing demand for regional travel, according to Jeypore Airport Director Abakash Parida. Previously, flight services between the two cities were limited to three days a week, with just one flight operating.
The new service will operate with two flights each day. The first flight departs from Bhubaneswar at 6:55 am, while the second takes off at 10:55 am. Return flights from Jeypore are scheduled for 8:55 am and 3:15 pm. This schedule provides more flexibility and accessibility for passengers, making it easier to travel between the two cities.
Jeypore Airport, which is the third airport in Odisha to receive the Civil Aviation Airport tag, after Bhubaneswar and Jharsuguda, plays a crucial role in boosting regional air travel. The launch of daily flights is a significant step in meeting the increasing demand for air services in the region.
With these additional flights, IndiaOne Air aims to not only make travel more convenient for passengers but also to support the economic growth of the region by improving accessibility. This development is expected to encourage more people to travel by air, providing a faster and more comfortable option compared to other modes of transport.
As Odisha continues to expand its aviation network, this new initiative marks a milestone in improving the state's air connectivity. The launch of these daily flights underscores the importance of strengthening regional travel links, which can lead to increased tourism, business opportunities, and overall growth in the state.
