Manila, November 8: The Indian non-profit organization Educate Girls has been honoured with the esteemed Ramon Magsaysay Award, which it has dedicated to the countless volunteers, youth mentors, and field coordinators who have played a vital role in its mission to bring millions of girls back to school across India.

The announcement of the award was made public on August 31, with the formal ceremony held on Friday at the Metropolitan Theatre in Manila, Philippines.

Founded in 2007, Educate Girls has been working relentlessly in over 30,000 villages across the states of Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Bihar.
