The Indian Air Force presents an excellent opportunity for Indian/Gorkha male candidates to participate in a recruitment rally aimed at joining the IAF as Airmen in the Group ‘Y’ Medical Assistant trade.
Key dates:
Registration: May 22 to June 5, 2024
Recruitment Rally: July 3 to July 12, 2024
Educational qualification:
Candidates must have completed their 10+2/Intermediate/Equivalent Examination from recognized Education Boards, with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English. Additionally, a minimum of 50% marks in English is required. Alternatively, candidates can have completed a two-year Vocational Course with specified subjects, also with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English. Candidates with a Diploma/B.Sc. in Pharmacy must fulfill additional criteria.
Age limit:
Unmarried candidates must have been born between January 2, 2004, and January 2, 2008, inclusive, for the Medical Assistant trade. For candidates with a Diploma/B.Sc. in Pharmacy, the age range is different based on marital status.
Registration fee:
A registration fee of Rs 100 plus GST is applicable during the registration process.
Pay and allowance:
During training, candidates will receive a stipend of Rs 14,600 per month. Upon successful completion, they will begin their service with a starting gross emolument of Rs 26,900 per month, inclusive of Military Service Pay (MSP) at the minimum scale.
