Bhubaneswar, November 24: The Odisha Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, convened on Monday evening at the Lok Sabha Bhavan and approved three proposals, including around Rs 10,000 crore supplementary budget for the financial year 2025-26.

The state’s winter session of the Assembly is scheduled to begin on November 27. On November 28, Chief Minister Majhi, who also holds the Finance portfolio, will present the supplementary budget for the year 2025-26 before the Odisha Assembly.

Additionally, the Cabinet also gave its nod to the amendment of the Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination for Group-B and Group-C Specialist Posts and Services Rules, 2022.

The Council of Ministers meeting, held earlier in the evening, saw in-depth discussions before finalizing the approval for the supplementary budget.
