New Delhi, May 11: India is all set to sue Pakistan to the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) on the recent ceasefire violation, committed on Saturday despite a DGMO-level talk.
India will submit the fresh evidence against Pakistan at the UNSC sanctions committee soon, after the deliberate ceasefire despite a bilateral agreement drawn between the two neighbouring nations.
India on Saturday accused Pakistan of violating a ceasefire agreement as the Pakistan armed forces yet continued drone attack in multiple locations in a number of bordering states.
With a strong dissonance with the Pakistan’s unethical operations, Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said Indian forces had been directed to give a firm response to any further ceasefire breaches along the Line of Control (LoC) and the international border.
However, in the last few hours, Pakistan had violated this understanding, Misri stated.
He also confirmed that Indian the forces were already retaliating against the latest cross-border attack, which he called “extremely condemnable.”
Misri held Pakistan fully accountable for the renewed hostilities and called on Islamabad to immediately put an end to these provocations.
