Air travel in Israel is set for a gradual comeback following a period of intense restriction. Transport Minister Miri Regev confirmed that the nation will begin reopening its skies between Wednesday night and Thursday morning. This strategic move aims to facilitate the safe return of citizens currently stuck in the Gulf region, though all operations remain strictly dependent on evolving security protocols.
New Leadership and Rising Threats in Iran
While flight paths begin to clear, the political landscape in Tehran is shifting rapidly. Mojtaba Khamenei has been named the successor to his late father, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Known for his hard-line stance and deep connections to the IRGC and Quds Force, Mojtaba previously faced US sanctions for his influential role in the Iranian regime.
