Bhubaneswar, June 24: Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment, Ramdas Athawale, is scheduled to arrive in Odisha on a one-day visit today.

According to the programme, Athawale will reach Bhubaneswar Airport at 11:25 a.m. Following his arrival, he will proceed to the State Guest House, where he will hold a review meeting with senior state government officials on the implementation of various welfare and development schemes.

A press conference has been scheduled at the State Guest House at 1:00 p.m., during which the Union Minister is expected to brief the media on key issues discussed during the meeting.

Later in the day, Athawale is also slated to meet Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi. The meeting is expected to focus on matters related to social welfare programmes and coordination between the Centre and the state government.
