New Delhi, May 28: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday arrested former judge Giribala Singh in connection with the death case of her daughter-in-law, Twisha Sharma, officials said. The arrest came a day after the Madhya Pradesh High Court rejected her anticipatory bail plea.

According to officials, a CBI team reached Singh’s residence in the Bag Mughaliya Extension area of Bhopal and questioned her before taking her into custody.

Twisha Sharma’s husband, lawyer Samarth Singh, is already in the custody of the central investigating agency in connection with the case, officials added.
