Bhubaneswar/Rairangpur, June 20: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Saturday lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, asserting that the country has witnessed a transformative era under his stewardship and that “there is a little bit of Modi in everyone’s life in India.”
Speaking at a grand public function organized to commemorate the second anniversary of the BJP government in Odisha, Majhi said that India’s emergence as a confident and influential global power has been made possible due to the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Modi. The event assumed special significance as it was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Droupadi Murmu, who shared the stage with the Chief Minister.
In his welcome address, Majhi highlighted the far-reaching impact of Modi’s governance model, stating that the Prime Minister’s policies and initiatives have touched the lives of people across all sections of society. From welfare schemes and infrastructure development to economic reforms and social empowerment, the Chief Minister said the influence of Modi’s leadership can be felt in every household across the country.
“Today, India is being recognized and respected globally. The nation’s time on the world stage has finally arrived under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. His vision, commitment, and dedication to nation-building have transformed the aspirations of millions into reality. There is a little bit of Modi in everyone’s life in India because his policies have directly benefited the common people,” Majhi remarked.
The Chief Minister also credited the success of the Odisha government to the guidance and governance principles championed by the Prime Minister. He said the state administration has drawn inspiration from Modi’s development-oriented approach and has worked relentlessly to ensure the effective implementation of welfare programmes and public-centric initiatives.
Praising the achievements of the BJP government in Odisha over the past two years, Majhi said the administration has made significant strides in various sectors, including rural development, infrastructure, women’s empowerment, agriculture, education, and healthcare. According to him, the government’s accomplishments are a reflection of its commitment to transparent and accountable governance.
“Our government has achieved remarkable milestones by following the path shown by Prime Minister Modi. His vision of inclusive growth, good governance, and development for all continues to inspire us. We are committed to transforming Odisha into a prosperous and developed state while ensuring that the benefits of growth reach the last person in society,” he said.
The anniversary celebration witnessed the presence of senior BJP leaders, ministers, party workers, and thousands of supporters.
