Bhubaneswar, June 12: Renowned Odia sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has added another feather to his cap by winning the prestigious Russian Grand Sand Master Cup 2026 at the II International Festival of Sand Sculpture in Kaliningrad.
Pattnaik received the coveted honour for his thought-provoking sand sculpture highlighting the urgent global challenges of climate change and global warming. The award marks a significant milestone in his illustrious career and makes him the first Indian sand artist to receive the prestigious international recognition.
