Bhubaneswar, March 27: Bollywood producer Subhash Ghai recently shared a post of a sand statue he believed was created by renowned Odisha artist Sudarsan Pattnaik. The image, which turned out to be AI-generated, led Ghai to thank Pattnaik for the “remarkable tribute.”

In response, Pattnaik clarified on social media that the sculpture was not made by him but appeared to be digitally fabricated. He expressed gratitude for Ghai's appreciation but corrected the misunderstanding, noting that the sculpture seemed to be AI-generated.

This incident highlights the growing concerns around AI-generated content, which has led to misinformation and digital manipulation. Recently, Indian authorities have taken action against misleading AI content, including an AI-generated video involving the Prime Minister. As AI tools become more accessible, there are rising concerns about the authenticity and credibility of digital media.
