Creating this custom heirloom demanded remarkable dedication from highly skilled artisans. Over 256 hours of precise labor went into the initial design, delicate stone setting, and final polishing stages. A team of 131 professionals collaborated to perfect the final product. QWEEN co-founder Amit Kumar explained that locating the central stone alone consumed three entire months. He stated that these specific Madagascar rubies are remarkably scarce, making them highly desirable for elite collectors. Historically, smooth cabochon-cut rubies were heavily favored by Indian royalty during the Mughal empire to project immense wealth and dynastic authority. This traditional cutting technique gives the red stone a smooth, domed polish that enhances its natural inner glow.

Crown Details and Ceremonial Elegance

Artisans consciously avoided producing a standard wedding band for this high-profile union. Designers instead mounted the vibrant ruby inside a distinct golden structure resembling a miniature royal crown. A beautifully scalloped gallery secures the jewel before transitioning into intricate milgrain beading. Such delicate metalwork frequently appears in antique coronation pieces across various historical periods. Creators intended for this bespoke ring to function as a generational keepsake rather than a standard modern accessory. The couple officially married during a private gathering at their Bandra residence earlier this month. Close family members and children attended the special event to share their joy.
