Rourkela, July 21: A seven-member gang involved in stealing vehicles and selling them after dismantling has been busted by the Plantsite Police. The gang had allegedly been operating across various parts of the city, targeting motorcycles and disassembling them for spare parts.

Acting on a tip-off, police conducted a raid and arrested all seven members. During the operation, authorities recovered four stolen motorcycles along with a large cache of dismantled vehicle components.

According to DSP, the gang had been active for a considerable period, systematically stealing vehicles and selling the parts in the black market. Further investigation is underway to identify other individuals who may be linked to the racket.
