Royal Enfield expands its 2026 Hunter 350 motorcycle lineup

Royal Enfield expanded its popular 2026 Hunter 350 portfolio today with a new Base Premium variant and vibrant colour options during a high-energy event in Lucknow. Priced at 1,49,900 (ex-showroom Chennai), the Base Premium model introduces alloy wheels to the entry-level tier, replacing traditional spoke rims to improve daily practicality for city commuters. This strategic move lowers the barrier to entry for riders seeking a modern-retro aesthetic without sacrificing essential performance features.

New Features Define Base Premium Trim

Upgrading the entry point of the range, the Base Premium variant features a Tarmac Black finish and several mechanical refinements. Riders now get a slip and assist clutch alongside single-channel ABS for better control in heavy traffic. Aesthetic improvements include a stitched seat, a sporty grab rail, and a revised round halogen headlamp that maintains the bike's classic look. To improve the tactile feel, the company integrated a digi-analog instrument cluster paired with premium rotary switchgear.

Urban Expression Through Mumbai Yellow and Moonshot White

Two new shades, Mumbai Yellow and Moonshot White, now lead the Top variant at a price point of 1,69,804. Mumbai Yellow draws inspiration from the kinetic energy of Bollywood and street art, while Moonshot White features hand-rendered graphics inspired by the Orion constellation. These additions aim to turn the motorcycle into a canvas for self-expression among younger demographics.

Cultural Synergy at HunterHood Lucknow

Lucknow served as the backdrop for these reveals at "HunterHood," a festival celebrating street culture through music, skateboarding, and graffiti. While Royal Enfield has deep British roots dating back to 1901, its modern identity is firmly rooted in Indian manufacturing, specifically within its advanced Chennai facilities. This blend of heritage and modern street style has helped the Hunter 350 become a dominant force in the mid-size segment since its initial 2022 release.

Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Chief Commercial Officer, noted that these updates help the brand reach beyond major metros into smaller Indian towns where demand for accessible premium biking is rising. Test rides and retail operations for these new models began pan-India on April 4, 2026.
