Koraput, March 6: A dead body was recovered from S-3 coach of the Bhubaneswar-Jagdalpur Hirakhand Express at Koraput Railway Station on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Manish Das from the Kantilo area in Cuttack district.

According to the railway doctor, the individual was already deceased when found. The railway police have seized the body and notified the family.

Sources said Manish Das had traveled from Bhubaneswar to Tikiri, where he works in a private company. He had returned home to celebrate the Holi festival and was on his way back to Tikiri when the incident occurred.

The GRP stated that the cause of death will be determined after the post-mortem report. Station officer Santoshee Mahant confirmed that the family has been informed.
