Bhubaneswar, March 15: The Shree Jagannath Temple authorities in Puri, Odisha, have suspended a servitor for three months due to alleged neglect of duty, which resulted in a delay in the temple's rituals on February 28.

In an official statement, the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) Chief Administrator, Arabinda Padhee, announced that two other servitors, who were also accused of negligence, have been issued warnings. They have been informed that any future misconduct would lead to strict disciplinary action.

“The SJTA will take stringent action against the two servitors if any instances of indiscipline or misconduct occur in the future,” Padhee added.
