Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s para badminton stalwart Pramod Bhagat delivered another impressive performance on the international stage, securing three medals at the BABOLAT French Para Badminton International 2026 and contributing significantly to India’s successful campaign in France.

 

The former Paralympic champion showcased his consistency and versatility across multiple events, winning a silver medal in the Mixed Doubles SL3-SU5 category alongside Manisha Ramdass. The Indian duo displayed excellent coordination and determination throughout the tournament, finishing as runners-up after a series of strong performances.

 

Pramod also earned a bronze medal in the Men's Singles SL3 event, demonstrating his trademark resilience and competitive spirit against a strong international field. Continuing his medal-winning run, he partnered Sukant Kadam to secure bronze in the Men's Doubles competition, completing a remarkable three-medal haul from the tournament.

 

Reflecting on his performance, Pramod Bhagat said, “I am pleased to return with three medals from France.
