New Delhi, March 21: Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with the President of Iran, Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, on Saturday, extending his Eid and Nowruz greetings. The Prime Minister expressed his hopes that the festive season would usher in peace, stability, and prosperity for West Asia.

During the telephonic conversation, PM Modi condemned the recent attacks on critical infrastructure in the region, emphasizing that such acts pose a serious threat to regional stability and disrupt global supply chains. He reiterated the need to protect the freedom of navigation and ensure the security and openness of international shipping lanes.
