Bhubaneswar: On the second day, Host Odisha boys registered double wins in the league round matches, they edged out Bihar and Manipur 6-0 and 11-1 runs of the 31st Sub-Junior National Baseball Championship 2026 at KIIT and KISS grounds here on Tuesday.
Odisha player Suraj Hansdah delivered a stellar performance smashing two HOME-RUN during the match, earning appreciation from players and spectators alike. Similarly, the Odisha girls team defeated Andhra Pradesh by 09-01 runs.
Pankaj Lochan Mohanty, President, Amateur Baseball Federation of India, and Dr. Prabodh Mohanty, President, Baseball Association of Odisha, Sibananda Pradhan, Secretary, Baseball Association of Odisha remained present throughout the course of play and encouraged the participating teams.
