Bhubaneswar, July 10: The Higher Education Department on Friday declared the results of the Entrance Test-2026 for admission to two-year B.Ed., M.Ed. and B.H.Ed for the 2026–27 academic session.
Candidates, who appeared for the entrance exam, can access their results through the student academic management system (SAMS) portal.
According to the department, out of the total 1,13,540 applicants, 1,01,030 students appeared for the exam. A total of 12,510 applicants failed turn up for the entrance test conducted by the State Selection Board (SSB).
The entrance test was conducted for admission to having 2,800 seats (2,450 seats for B.Ed course, 300 for M.Ed and 50 for B.H.Ed course) offered by 31 Teacher Education Institutions.
“The Provisional Entrance Marks for TE Courses-2026 has been published today, i.e., 10.07.2026 at 02.00 PM. Applicants can check their marks by logging into their existing user name and password on the SAMS TE Portal,” said the Higher Education Department.
Candidates having any objection regarding their provisional marks may submit their objections online only through the SAMS Portal using their existing Login ID and Password by accessing the Online Objection Module.
The Department also opened the objection window. Candidates who are not satisfied with their provisional scores can submit objections through the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) portal from 2 PM of July 10 to 6 PM of July 13.
After disposal of all the objections, the final entrance marks will be published for Choice filling and further admission related activities under SAMS for the Academic Year 2026-27, it said.
