Odisha CM Mohan Majhi to mark two years of government with key announcements & project launches

Bhubaneswar, June 12: Chief Minister Mohan Majhi will address the people of Odisha today on the occasion of the completion of two years of the state’s BJP government. The BJP-led administration in Odisha completes two years on Friday, marking a significant milestone since it came to power.

Exactly two years ago on this day, Mohan Majhi had taken oath as Chief Minister when the BJP formed the government in the state. To mark the occasion, the Chief Minister will address the state at 11:30 am from Lok Seva Bhawan.

In his press conference, the Chief Minister is expected to highlight the achievements of the government over the past two years and outline upcoming development plans. He is also likely to elaborate on the government’s vision of “Development Everywhere, Odisha Everywhere” as a guiding slogan for future governance.

Deputy Chief Ministers Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Pravati Parida, along with BJP state president and Rajya Sabha MP Manmohan Samal, will also be present at the event.

As part of the celebrations, the Chief Minister will launch several new welfare schemes and inaugurate key projects. In a special programme scheduled at 4 pm at the Exhibition Ground, he will launch the ‘Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana’ and ‘Subhadra Shakti Samvad’. He will also initiate the distribution of smartphones to all Anganwadi workers, lady supervisors, and block coordinators across the state.

Additionally, he will inaugurate the road connecting the Institute of Mathematics to Info City via Ekamra Kanan, and lay the foundation stone for a new road linking Jaydev Vihar and Nandankanan. He will also lay the foundation stone for the proposed ‘Janashraya Bhavan’ in Unit-2.
