Bhubaneswar, April 23: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Thursday emphasized the importance of maintaining ethical behavior and integrity within government offices. While addressing 4,623 newly appointed employees at a 'Nijukti Mela' held at Kalinga Stadium, he urged government staffers to respect women and refrain from corrupt practices in the course of their duties.
"I have five important suggestions for the newly recruited employees and all government workers. Firstly, they must ensure respectful conduct when interacting with women, whether in public or in the workplace, and foster an environment of politeness and professionalism towards female colleagues," Majhi remarked.
His address underscored the importance of preserving dignity and promoting ethical standards among government employees.
