Delhi, June 16: The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) on Tuesday sought detailed reports in the case involving Chameli Ojha, Sarpanch of Tikhiri GP in Odisha’s Kendrapara district.

The NHRC has asked the Kendrapara DM & Collector and Superintendent of Police (SP) to submit reports in connection with the incidents.

It has directed the authorities to conduct a proper investigation into the incident and submit detailed reports within 15 days.

The Commission has also ordered the submission of an Action Taken Report (ATR) within two weeks.
