Digapahandi, March 23: A tragic incident occurred in the Ramachandra Nagar area near the State Bank in Digapahandi, Ganjam district, where a newlywed woman, Chandrama Gouda, reportedly took her own life due to ongoing family discord.

The police found her body at her residence, where she was found hanging from a ceiling fan.

Chandrama had been married only a few days earlier to Bulu Sahu, the son of Yogi Sahu, a businessman who sells ready-made clothes at the Digapahandi bus stand.

Authorities suspect that family-related conflicts and mental stress led to her tragic decision.

The Digapahandi police have launched an investigation into the incident, with preliminary reports indicating that the woman’s emotional and mental well-being may have been severely affected by the family issues she was facing.
