Speaking at a meeting with TMC candidates at her Kalighat residence, which was also attended by national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee, Mamata emphasized that the party would recover despite its recent defeat.
“Those who want to join other parties, let them go. I will rebuild the party from scratch. For those staying, I urge you to repair the damaged party offices, repaint them, and reopen them. If necessary, I will also roll up my sleeves and paint them myself. Trinamool Congress will never bow down. The people’s mandate has been misappropriated,” she said, according to party sources.
