Bhubaneswar, May 8: Madhabananda Jew Vikash Parishad’s Journal the ‘Podhuanjatra’ unwrapped at ‘Geetagobinda Sadan’ in Bhubaneswar on Thursday by a panel of guests.

Founder Director of AIIMS Bhubaneswar Prof. Dr. Ashok Mohapatra, VC, the Tiruvannamalai Vedic University & avid orator Dr. Harihara Kanoongo, Former Registrar, NISER, Dr. Abhaya Kumar Nayak and Mahanta of Radhaballav Mutt, Puri Ramakrishna Das Maharaj formally announced the spiritual magazine unveiled. Meanwhile, the guests underlined the eminence of of the Prachi shrine highlighting its pious connectivity with the Shree Kshetra Puri.

Aclaimed litterateur Ameya Bikramananda Bhuyan chaired the session who also shed light on the philosophical significance of the Madhaba cult amid his presidential presentation. Meanwhile, scores of prominent people including Trilochan Pasupalak, Dr Trinath Patnaik, Saroj Nayak, Pitambar Rout, Shradhanjali Patnaik, Jogindra Das, Nyayabrata Rout, Dr. Kailash Pani, Dr. Dhrutidhar Das, Ranjit Sahu, Bhaskar Chandra Panda, Kedar Behera, Ashok Puspalak, Artatrana Puspalak and Bhaskar Chandra Puspalak were felicitated by the organisation.

Apart from it, four dignified persons including social activist Kunachandra Patra were honoured for their uncommon contributions.

Trilochan Puspalak, servitor of the Madhaba shrine and Editor of the Journal Bijay Kumar Mohanty, mentioned this year’s schedule of Prathamastami rituals of the shrine with reference to the Madhaba tradition.

Prof. Dr Nibedita Mohanty, faculty of KISS Deemed to be University and Dramatist Shishir Kumar Mishra read out the citation.Whereas, local elites joined the occasion with heart & soul, TV anchor and spiritualist Ramaballav Mohapatra moderated the divine session.
