Bhubaneswar, April 17: Former Chief Minister Biju Patnaik was remembered with deep respect on his death anniversary as leaders across Odisha paid floral tributes.

Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati paid humble tributes, stating that Biju Patnaik’s immense contribution to the state will always be remembered.

Chief Minister Mohan Majhi also paid homage and shared a message on X, saying, “Humble tributes to former Chief Minister Biju Patnaik on his death anniversary. His immense contribution to Odisha will always remain unforgettable.”

The Chief Minister further offered floral tributes at Biju Patnaik’s statue in the Assembly premises, honouring the legacy of the iconic leader.

Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida, Speaker Surama Padhy, and Deputy Speaker Bhabani Shankar Bhoi, along with several ministers and MLAs, were present on the occasion.

Senior leader Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo also paid heartfelt tributes, remembering Biju Patnaik as a visionary leader whose legacy continues to inspire generations.
