Mumbai, Dec 27: Actress Kriti Sanon has completed shooting for the upcoming romantic comedy Cocktail 2. She described the experience as fun, positive, and enjoyable. The film stars Shahid Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles and is directed by Homi Adajania.
In a recent interview, Kriti revealed that she had been seeking a light-hearted project after her serious film Tere Ishq Mein. “I wanted a fun, romantic-comedy space, and the right project came at the perfect time,” she said.
Following her 2024 release Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, Kriti will reunite with Shahid Kapoor on screen. Cocktail 2 marks her first collaboration with director Homi Adajania. Kriti, set to kick off 2026 with the film, expressed her excitement and optimism for the year ahead.
