Bhubaneswar, March 20: Further solidifying its market leadership as the No. 1 digital service provider in Odisha, Reliance Jio has added the highest 1.8 lakh new mobile and home broadband subscribers in the state in the month of January 2026.
As per the latest telecom subscription data, released by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), over 1.57 lakh new mobile subscribers and over 23000 new home broadband subscribers joined the Jio network in Odisha, in January.
In fact, the number of new home broadband subscribers joining Jio network in Odisha, in January, was more than double that of its nearest competitor, Airtel. Jio presently has over 46 percent mobile subscriber market share and over 60 percent subscriber market share in the home broadband segment, in Odisha. With this, Jio has further consolidated its market leadership in the wireless, wireline and FWA segments in Odisha, with the highest over 1.74 crore mobile subscribers, 3.64 lakh JioFiber subscribers and 3.51 lakh JioAirFiber subscribers. Driving digital inclusion in thousands of villages across the rural hinterlands of Odisha, Jio has made high speed broadband connectivity available at their doorsteps.
As per TRAI data, nationally, Jio added over 24 lakh new wireless subscribers, 1.79 lakh new wireline subscribers and over 5.85 lakh new FWA (JioAirFiber) subscribers in the month of January.
