Jajpur, May 19: In a late-night visit to the Jajpur District Headquarters Hospital, Collector Ambar Kumar Kar personally inquired about the health and treatment of patients. The inspection began at the Children’s Ward, where he checked on the condition of admitted children and their relatives, ensuring that all necessary medical facilities were being provided.

The Collector also visited the maternity section, assessing the health of expectant and postpartum women. During the visit, he instructed medical officials to place greater emphasis on cleanliness and proper hygiene across all hospital wards.

Collector Kar personally reviewed each ward in the Children’s Hospital, noting which doctors were on duty and verifying the number of children who had been transferred to Cuttack for specialized care. He also interacted with the medical staff to understand the challenges faced in providing adequate treatment and ensuring timely care for all patients.

The night inspection underscores the administration’s commitment to monitoring healthcare delivery and maintaining high standards of medical services, especially for vulnerable groups such as children and mothers.
