Bhubaneswar: Odisha coach Gouri Shankar Mishra and handball player Suprajit Behera have been selected for the Indian national coaching camp ahead of the Asian U-21 Men's Handball Championship, scheduled to be held in Chuzhou, China, from July 13 to 27.
The national coaching camp will be conducted from July 3 to 12 at the J.R.D. Tata Sports Complex in Jamshedpur (Tatanagar). The selected players and officials will undergo intensive training during the camp in preparation for the continental championship.
Congratulating Gouri Shankar Mishra and Suprajit Behera on their selection, Biplab Choudhury, President of the Odisha Handball Association, Er. Manas Kumar Singh, Secretary, Shitendra Nath Das, Treasurer, and Prashanta Kumar Nayak, Secretary of the Bhubaneswar Handball Association, extended their best wishes for a successful campaign.
