CMs of Various States Meet PM Modi on Sidelines of NITI Aayog Governing Council Meeting

Several Chief Ministers, including those of Karnataka, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, and Tamil Nadu, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the 11th NITI Aayog Governing Council Meeting in New Delhi on Thursday.

CMs of Various States Meet PM Modi on Sidelines of NITI Aayog Governing Council Meeting

New Delhi, June 11:Several Chief Ministers, including those of Karnataka, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, and Tamil Nadu, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the 11th NITI Aayog Governing Council Meeting in New Delhi on Thursday.

The leaders held courtesy meetings with the Prime Minister and discussed various state-related issues, development priorities, and key projects. Many of them also congratulated PM Modi on completing 12 years in office and becoming India's longest-serving elected Prime Minister in consecutive terms.

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah raised issues such as the restoration of statehood, economic growth, development, and tourism promotion. Karnataka Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar discussed infrastructure, investment, urban mobility, irrigation, and welfare initiatives, seeking greater cooperation from the Centre.

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy requested the Prime Minister's support for major projects, including the Hyderabad Metro Rail expansion, Regional Ring Road, and new airports. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath praised PM Modi's leadership and vision for a developed India.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay also held talks with the Prime Minister. Discussions during the meetings focused on cooperative federalism, balanced development of states, and the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
