New Delhi/ Bhubaneswar, Jul 31: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Friday met Union Minister for Railways, Information & Broadcasting, and Electronics & IT Ashwini Vaishnaw to discuss strengthening railway infrastructure and improving connectivity across the state.
During the meeting, the two leaders reviewed ongoing and proposed railway projects, with emphasis on expediting new rail lines and enhancing regional as well as industrial connectivity to accelerate Odisha's economic growth.
Sharing details on X, Chief Minister Majhi said the discussions focused on improving railway infrastructure, fast-tracking new projects and ensuring better connectivity across the state. He expressed confidence that continued support from the Union Government would help Odisha move towards becoming a developed and prosperous state.
The Chief Minister also stressed the need for faster execution of ongoing railway projects, particularly to improve last-mile connectivity in industrial and tribal areas, thereby supporting balanced regional development.
