​​​​​​​Vijayawada, Dec 19: An Air India Express flight  was cancelled  at the eleventh hour on Friday after a technical snag detected in the aircraft.

Following the Pilot’s minute observation, the flight returned back to the ramp, said report.

An Air India Express Spokesperson said, “In the interest of safety, our Vijayawada–Visakhapatnam flight returned to the ramp after the pilot identified a technical issue prior to departure.”

The flight was subsequently cancelled. Passengers were promptly provided with hotel accommodation and refreshments. They were also offered options, including a full refund or complimentary rescheduling, he added.
