Bhubaneswar, March 22: Ace Odia Guitar player Debanshu Rath (Kabuli) in no more.

Rath passed away on Sunday at Chennai reportedly in Cardiac arrest.

According to report, Rath was conducting an online class in the afternoon. Meanwhile, he felt uneasy and later complained of severe chest pain. He was rushed to hospital for resuscitation. However, he was no more before reaching the hospital.

Rath, as a renowned Guitarist had acknowledged name & fame in Odisha & abroad, for his mesmerizing performance on stage and even in classical and contemporary background music.

The sudden demise of the artist has created an irreparable void in Odisha’s filed of art & culture.

With the sad news, a pall of gloom descended among the music & orchestra fraternities, who eagerly await to bid final adieu to late Rath on the arrival of his mortal remains in Odisha.
