Bhubaneswar, Oct 30: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) managed Annual (Board) Exams for Class X and Class XII will begin on February 17, 2026.
The CBSE on Thursday officially released the date, pretty earlier than the previous years.
With it, the examinees will get plenty of time to prepare aiming a specific date for the crucial Exams.
According to the notification issued by Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj, Controller of Examinations, the early release was made possible due to the timely submission of the List of Candidates (LOC) by affiliated schools.
A tentative date sheet was shared on September 24, 2025, almost 146 days prior to the examination begins, the notification added.
The Controller of Examinations, on the early announcements of Exam dates said, the novel effort will ease the way for students to coordinate the Matriculation, Higher Secondary and other competitive Exams in a specific timeline that too in a more organised manner.
